Throughout the vacation I sought after something to make, it didn’t take me long until I came along a picture of a room and got inspired by it. So I decided to make it in 3D but also while giving my own twist to it! I did that by inspiring the environment’s layout to the original picture, but then by adding my own props to it. The final results were beyond what I expected and they turned out great!
I put a lot of work into this project and I didn’t stop until I knew it was good enough! Making this project was a blast, because as I was making this I kept getting more and more inspired. The more I made the more inspired I got! But as college approached again I had to give my self a deadline as well as give myself room for other stuff to make!
I put a lot of my own flavors and interests into this room, from books of my favorite band to boxes of shoes I still have stored in my room. As well as a little concept car in a glass show-case, it’s all very “Icaro” !
And while I did try to keep it all very bright, I did play around with the lighting to get some shots with a more natural feel! Sometimes a bit of shadow doesn’t hurt! Or a lot of shadow for that matter as you can see in the render below.
And while I did go into the Visualization area which I’m very interested in, I did as well trow a bit of my game art related habits into it, like optimizing polys where they weren’t needed as shown in Wireframe Render below.
